And after recovering from several of his own, Robbie observes what he believes is a common trait in many relationships turned sour. “I’ve witnessed the control that a spouse, girlfriend, or boyfriend has over the other in these relationships,” he says, “and I’m amazed at how miserable someone can be and still not give up hope that things will get better.”

“I feel confident that we’ve been successful at visually portraying the true feelings of many individuals who feel obliged to endure the sadness of a one-sided relationship.”
